Grown with Care
At Waipoli Greens, our plants grow with their roots in gently flowing, nutrient-rich water. This method, called hydroponics, gives our greens the water and nutrients they need while allowing us to recirculate and reuse water throughout the growing system.
Here in Upcountry Maui, we pair outdoor sunshine and fresh air with careful tending—from tiny seedlings to harvest-ready greens. Food safety and thoughtful growing practices are part of our everyday work, helping us bring fresh, locally grown greens to Hawaii’s tables.
Meet the People Behind the Greens
We’re Rob and Mary Cummins, the proud owners of Waipoli Greens. In 2024, we took the reins of this Upcountry Maui farm, continuing a growing tradition that began in 1997.
Together with our hardworking team, we tend each crop with care and share a commitment to growing fresh food for Hawaii’s communities. Behind every harvest are early mornings, helping hands, and people who care about what reaches your table.

From family dinners to restaurant kitchens, we’re proud to be part of the meals that bring Hawaii together. Grown in Upcountry Maui, our lettuce, greens, and herbs reach communities across the islands through local grocers, restaurants, schools, and Costco.
